Since opening its doors, Tokunai Hair has become a destination for transformative colour, trend-forward styling, and flawless makeup. At the helm is Krystle Tokunai, AHIA Queensland Hairdresser of the Year 2024, and finalist for Master Colourist of the Year, Salon Team of the Year, and the Queensland Training Awards.

A proud Schwarzkopf ANZ Educator, Krystle delivers business and social media education across Australia and New Zealand. Her passion for mentorship runs deep she leads monthly in-salon training, workshops, and incentive programs to elevate her team.

Krystle’s career spans some of the country’s biggest fashion events, including Australian Fashion Week, Brisbane Fashion Week, and Virgin Melbourne Fashion Festival. She has styled for names like Camilla Franks, Lorna Jane, Lara Bingle, and was invited to style for Gina Rinehart’s Australian Swim Team Gala in 2023.

From fashion runways to everyday transformations, Krystle’s mission is clear: to create beauty with heart, purpose, and impact.

With a natural talent for colour work, especially blondes and soft, lived-in tones Gabrielle is steadily building a loyal clientele who love her gentle approach and eye for effortless beauty.Not only is she growing behind the chair, Gabrielle is also stepping into the world of education and mentoring. She’s passionate about sharing her knowledge, supporting junior team members, and continuing to learn as she evolves into a future leader within the salon.With a love for fashion, beauty, and personal growth, Gabrielle brings both style and heart to everything she does and she’s only just getting started.

Passionate about creating beautiful hair, she specialises in blowdries, styling, and colour services while continuing to refine her skills under the guidance of our senior team. With a genuine love for learning, a keen eye for detail, and a warm, friendly nature, Dakota is quickly becoming a favourite among our clients and is definitely one to watch at Tokunai Hair.

Her attention to detail, calm energy, and love for creating polished finishes make her an essential part of the Tokunai experience.
