Since opening its doors, Tokunai Hair has become a destination for transformative colour, trend-forward styling, and flawless makeup. At the helm is Krystle Tokunai, AHIA Queensland Hairdresser of the Year 2024, and finalist for Master Colourist of the Year, Salon Team of the Year, and the Queensland Training Awards.
A proud Schwarzkopf ANZ Educator, Krystle delivers business and social media education across Australia and New Zealand. Her passion for mentorship runs deep she leads monthly in-salon training, workshops, and incentive programs to elevate her team.
Krystle’s career spans some of the country’s biggest fashion events, including Australian Fashion Week, Brisbane Fashion Week, and Virgin Melbourne Fashion Festival. She has styled for names like Camilla Franks, Lorna Jane, Lara Bingle, and was invited to style for Gina Rinehart’s Australian Swim Team Gala in 2023.
From fashion runways to everyday transformations, Krystle’s mission is clear: to create beauty with heart, purpose, and impact.

Since joining Tokunai Hair in October 2024, Gabrielle has become a valued part of the team with her calm energy, keen eye for detail, and genuine passion for making clients feel their best. With a natural talent for colour work, especially blondes and soft, lived-in tones Gabrielle is steadily building a loyal clientele who love her gentle approach and eye for effortless beauty.
Not only is she growing behind the chair, Gabrielle is also stepping into the world of education and mentoring. She’s passionate about sharing her knowledge, supporting junior team members, and continuing to learn as she evolves into a future leader within the salon.

sabel is a fully qualified stylist at Tokunai Hair, known for her calm confidence, attention to detail, and passion for creating beautiful, lived-in hair. With a strong foundation in colour, cutting, and styling, she brings a thoughtful and personalised approach to every appointment.
She has a special love for effortless blondes, dimensional brunettes, and enhancing her clients’ natural beauty through soft, seamless colour work. Isabel is all about making her guests feel comfortable, confident, and totally looked after from consultation to finish.

As part of Tokunai Hair’s training program, they work closely alongside our senior stylists assisting with colour applications, blow-dries, and styling to ensure a fully interactive, hands-on learning experience.
These rising talents have been diving deep into the world of colour, developing their technical knowledge and refining their skills with every client. Under the guidance of our experienced team, Chloe, Dakota and Adda are now confidently taking colour bookings under supervision offering clients a beautiful service while continuing to learn and grow in a real salon setting.
